Rohner Chem

It all began with formic acid and a staff of just six. In 1906, Joseph Rohner founded a chemical factory in Pratteln, near Basle. In the 1920s, the company began making azo dyes, diazo fast salts, and naphthanilide dyes. In light of a changing market environment, RohnerChem switched its focus to graphic chemicals and manufacturing intermediates. Today, RohnerChem is an independent enterprise whose core competency is sophisticated multi-step production of intermediates for chemical and pharmaceuticals firms.
